Mission
 To
provide prevention education and testing to the Central Ohio
minority community as it is related to HIV/AIDS and other
health disparities.
- To engage in educational and developmental activities
within the Columbus, Ohio African-American community related
to HIV prevention
- To serve as role models to those within and around the
community by providing health awareness programs, presentations,
publications, research, seminars, and distribution of information
to citizens and professionals
- To provide education related to diversity, health issues,
homophobia, and the demographics of the Central Ohio targeted
population
- To provide testing for HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted
diseases
- The Mpowerment Project
- HIV Prevention Education Workshops
- HIV/STD Speaker’s Bureau
- HIV/STD Testing, Counseling, and Referral
- Columbus Health Department Syphilis Elimination Program
(SEP)
- Bi-Monthly Luncheons/HIV Presentations
- Various Social Activities and Functions
- Condom Raids and Condom Distribution at area Bars and
Nightclubs
- Collaboration with Multiple Columbus Area Community Agencies
